The Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits, in response to the May weather disasters affecting Central Oklahoma, has initiated this website and blog to help nonprofits and supporters communicate their needs, short and long-term. We know that Oklahomans are strong and generous, willing to help in tremendous ways and we want to show that Oklahoma is truly one of the greatest and most generous states in the country.

We also want nonprofits to contact us about their needs so that they can best provide relief in the area. If your nonprofit organization* is providing any of the following:

  • Direct care or relief to residents in the area
  • Food, shelter or immediate services to those affected
  • A collection or drop-off point for necessary supplies
  • Volunteer coordination
  • Long-term assistance for families or businesses affected
  • Other services to help those in need

This website will be a helpful guidance for nonprofits and supporters to come together and be “OK Strong!”
